Gonzales's images are influenced by her Hispanic, Filipino and Pueblo Indian Heritage. A graduate of the University of Texas in Austin; Gonzales has taught art through various outreach programs in Austin and New York City. Recently, she has become involved in mural painting projects throughout the Austin Hispanic Community.
