Jason Singleton received his BFA from The University of Texas at Austin, and works primarily in video, photography, drawing, and installation. His work is influenced by Robert Mussel, Joseph Beuys, Marcel Proust, Douglas Gordon, and, as is evident in his print, Marcel Duchamp. "The base image came from a sketch from a sculpture [the] practical structure drawing has taken on a certain phantasmal aspect, a mix of dry narration and illustration within reaction to layers built upon through the process of screen printing."
