Sergio Hernandez was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. As an artist, he divides his work between cartooning, painting/drawing, airbrush and carving. During his years at Cal State Northbridge, he found his influence in history, politics and social justice. These themes are still prevalent in his work today.
In 2001, one of his paintings was published in the Alternative United Nations on Xenophobia and Racism. Other publishing's include: Barrio Logos by Raul Villa, Xispas Magazine, Con Safos Magazine, CA State Department of Education, etc.
