Richard S. Duardo, renowned artist and master printer, has been an advocate of the arts in Los Angeles for over 25 years. Since graduating from UCLA in graphic design, he has been prolific in producing a large body of work. Considered the "West Coast-Warhol," Duardo was honored by the National Endowment for the Arts and named "The Artist of the Year" in 1988 by the California Arts Commission. In 2004, he was elected chairman of The Graphic Arts Council at LACMA.

As a printmaker, Duardo has produced a vast body of serigraphs, his preferred medium. Since 1980, his fine art print studios Hecho en Aztlan and its later offshoots, Aztlan Multiples, Multiples Fine Art, Future Perfect, Art & Commerce and his current studio, Modern Multiples, Inc. have produced the works of over 400 artists including art-icons Shepard Fairey, Banksy, Ron English, Blek Le Rat, Raymond Pettibon, David Hockney, John Van Hamersveld and Keith Haring. Many major universities, including The University of California, Santa Barbara’s Department of Chicano Studies, The University of San Antonio and Stanford University, collect his studio archives. Duardo has exhibited in Japan, Mexico, Germany, and New York.
