Born in Brownsville, Texas, Austin artist Oscar Galvan perceives art as an important part of society. He received his B.S. in Art Education from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. His work as an Administrator for a Residential Treatment Center was a precursor to a return to painting.
