Rey Gaytan functions as both an artist and art consultant. He specializes in children's art projects and education. Gaytan has participated in an Arts in Residency program sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts and taught in various school districts throughout the state. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA and Masters in Art History, with a focus in pre-Columbian art. His commissions range from graphics work to large scale projects in Texas and New Mexico.
