Born and raised in Mexico City, artist Pio Pulido is one of the co-founders of the Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, Texas, and was instrumental in acquiring various exhibits, including works by Diego Rivera. His work has been exhibited in the United States and Mexico. Pulido's work is abstract expressionist in nature and incorporates vivid color in visual as well as tactile textures.
