In discussing her print, Texas native Anica Bazan says the three female figures are representative of one woman. Each symbol tells a story. The guitar represents the ability of women to overcome hardships and "hear the music." The dove represents each woman's attempt to find peace within herself. Bazan earned an associates degree in Studio Art from Del Mar Community College and a bachelors degree in Communication Design from Southwest Texas State University.
