Corpus Christi artist Bruno Andrade states that this print reflects how he is affected by the still life. Andrade observes, "Having nature in front of me everyday, inviting it into my being, has helped my art to develop. You can live with it all around you and not see it. For me, nature has become a state of mind; I invite it to come in, to be an integral part of my life. When this happens, it becomes easier to go into the studio, close the door and paint how you are affected by it rather than paint the appearance of it (nature)." Andrade is represented by galleries in New York City and Houston, Texas.
