Self-taught artist Javier Galan was born and raised in Mexico and now lives and works in Austin, Texas. Galan works in a variety of media and is primarily influenced by the modern schools of art: Cubism, Surrealism, and Abstract Expressionism. Galan states that this print represents the inner nature of man as sun-like, disguising a feline metamorphosis of his face as an Egyptian god.
