With a background in film production and acting, Austin artist Lizzie Martinez earned her B.A. from the University of California at San Diego and her Master of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. Martinez began painting a few years ago in response to all of the profound changes and blessings she felt in her life. She found it was the best way to process and express amazement at the smallest details of living, as well as the most unreachable ideas that affect all of us.
