Known among the art community as a “painter’s painter” Austin artist, Sydney Yeager earned her B.F.A. and M.F.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Yeager describes this image as multi-layered, including text and Xeroxed imagery influenced by the literary work Empire of Signs by Roland Barthes.
